LA Opera’s James Conlon conducts and James Darrah directs an all-new production of Mozart’s brilliantly comedic and profoundly moving The Marriage of Figaro. The 1786 collaboration with librettist Lorenzo da Ponte celebrates love and passion amid the rising strength and selfawareness of the bourgeoisie.
In this all-new production inspired by 1970s hotel photography, rich characters are brought to life by the 2018 Vocal fellows and an innovative design team performing alongside the Academy Festival Orchestra.
